Hi,

I am actually from Germany and moved here to Newark, DE a few months ago. No we found out that I am pregnant and now I am looking for a good and empathetic obg. I am more the holistic and homeopathic person and I already found the birth center in Wilmington but unfortunately my German health insurance won't pay for that because it is run by midwifes not by a 'licensed physician' they called it. It is unbelievable because there the costs are not as high as with a conventional obg and I could also go to a private obg...
Can someone recommend me a good obg now that you know what I am looking for?

Thank you so much!!!

BTW: I love Delaware so much and since the first day I/we feel so comfortable here!!!

Do you want to go to Christiana Hospital off of route #7, or St. Francis on Clayton St. in Wilmington?

Default ob/gyn

I had a nightmarish pregnancy and delivery about 8 1/2 years ago, and I couldn't have picked a better ob/gyn to get me through it all. He was so supportive, he has a small office staff and they're all very personable, and lastly we were just looking at the silver spoon he gave me after the baby's birth as a thank-you gift for chosing him. He's just a big sweetie!!! Lastly, EVERY single person I have referred his way always come back raving like me and saying they just can't believe how nice and knowledgable he is. His name is Dr. Walter Kobasa and he's located on kirkwood highway, near the kirkwood library is located. HTH

If you want a female doc, I highly recommend any of the doctors at All About Women. They are all wonderful.
