Just thought I'd pass along some lost dog info my wife found on a local 'for sale' site.

A Great Pyrenees, all white, ran from a yard in Felton on Wednesday, after being scared by gunshots. The dog was a rescue and the owner only had him 4 days. He has been sighted several times, but apparently is very scared and the people could not get him. The owner asks if you see him to call, and if you have any food to just try to sit near the dog and maybe he will come to you.

He has been seen at Uncle Willy's on 13, and possibly on Hunting Quarter Rd., south of Harrington. He came from Georgetown, so maybe headed back in that direction. His name is Buck.

Mod cut removed owners name and contact info

We will be driving around tomorrow to look for Buck. Cannot think of a better way to bring in the new year than to bring him home.

Thanks. Joe

Coming from Georgetown I have to ask was it one of the dogs rescued Thanksgiving?? My dogs will be out on a walk and hear the gun shots and turn around and head home. If it is a rescue I assume it is chipped which will help if someone picks it help. Thanks for posting.

NYJoe, you might also want to post on FB on the Delaware rescue sites. I hope you find him quickly because this probably will not be the best night out for him.

This is the "biggest" news we've had all year long in Slower, Lower, Delaware!
It's all over the newspapers, on the radio, and the subject of conversation all over the place! Yes, we've heard there's some new fangled thing called "Facebook"

Looks like the 'south of Harrington' report was not accurate. The people posting updates are concentrating around Rt. 12, and Rt 15.

I am not sure where Route 12 is, but 15 is not too far from me. I will take a ride, but I don't think the dog will be this far north.

Little Delaware certainly gets bigger when something is lost. I am heading out to the store but don't expect to see him down here either.

Just came back from Route 15 and did not see him. There are so many horse farms that he could be in the middle somewhere.

That's where he's been seen....See above. The new owner lives around Felton.
