I often see questions about the quality of schools down here in Sussex County. Just read this article. A University level instructor will be coming to Sussex Tech and teaching Chinese for a year. Attendance at Sussex Tech is an option for all high school students living in Sussex County.

There is no question about the quality of the schools down here. Like Middletown, DE and Garnet Valley, PA I've met tons of people like myself who lived in northern Delaware and couldn't afford private school. The taxes in PA are a slight step down from private school, so you have lots of families like ours that came here and Middletown for the schools.

You guys know me and the time and effort I have put into my children's schooling, If I had to rank Delaware's school districts, it would be Middletown, Indian River and Cape Henlopen.
My kids are in Cape Henlopen, but I wouldn't have any problem if they were in one of the other two.

Btw, Sussex Tech is probably the 2nd best public high school in the entire state behind the Charter School of Wilmington.
