Helloo,

I was interested in possibly moving to the First State, probably Lewes or Dover, for the next six-odd months or so. I'm single at 40+, not really looking for a whole lot to do necessarily. Actually, I like bird photography, and both Cape Henlopen and Bombay Hook suffice for that (and mosquitoes!). I'm also trying to finish up a little touring of the mid-Atlantic, and Dover would put me a smidge closer to D.C.

My biggest concerns: well, I guess I'm trying to stay under $1K a month. And although I've worked for H&R Block, it might help if there are other service/retail jobs available, e.g., a Barnes & Noble or such. I don't know how DE has fared jobs-wise lately.

Lastly, I was wondering if people have lived in or know of a nice complex that, to their knowledge, doesn't have mold issues, or probably wouldn't and would be worth my drive-up to check out. That's what's kicking me out of my SE Virginia apartment - or something in this forever-stuffy tuna-can anyway. I pay $730/month but there is no air here, only misery! (Summer or winter.) I know beach areas feel great while outside, but I drove through the Tom's River area of NJ and it was disgusting - not a bad roof here or there, but like people there actually like mold on their house sidings. Gross!

Can anyone suggest a healthy place?
