We are considering staying in Delaware next week and looked at some hotels.
We are seriously considering either Hilton Wilmington/Christiana or the Embassy Suites Newark-Wilmington South.
Anyone out there stay at either one of these hotels and if so can you give me your opinion. I've been to their websites, and checked their ratings as well as reviews, but you can never be too sure.

How's their customer service, cleanliness, room size, food, amenities, etc.

Thank you in advance for your help.

This will be some old info but wife/I stayed at Embassy Suites for 2 weeks in 2006 during our relocation. Suite was clean, good mattress, staff was very helpful (sent/received 50-60 fax pages no charge), plus restaurant recs, etc and breakfast was good. Not much you could walk to but it was a good location to get to and from. Updated info we had friends stay there in 2009 with no complaints.

Those hotels are suitable if your destination is Newark. Otherwise I would suggest the Hotel DuPont, downtown Wilmington.

When we were continually coming down to De. before moving we always stayed at the Embassy Suites. I cannot say enough good things about it. The only thing is that it would get crowded at times when thing were going on with UD.

Our family stayed at the Hilton a few times while house hunting in Delaware. It isn't in Wilmington...it is in Newark area near the mall. It was fine but very busy with parties/weddings each time we were there in the Summer '09.
