My mom used to use it. Boy, it's concentrated and very sour. It has to be diluted.
Lemons are expensive down here, believe it or not. So when the farmer's market finally opens in Nov.-March, I buy bags of them for cheaper than the supermarket. I zest and squeeze them and freeze in ice cube trays. Then when frozen, put in plastic bags to freeze.
Using the real lemon sample will tell me if I could sub for some things in the "off" season.
