I tried this one and just put none or zero anywhere that asked for what or how many. it said they will send it. Who know, maybe. Of course, I'm not sure if it's for talking the temp of a live bird or for a cooked one!!

Me either. Sticking a thermometer up the butt of a live chicken would just feel kinda creepy.

No way am I sticking anything up a chicken's butt unless it is wild rice and the chicken has passed on to the other side.

Maybe that is where the saying "sowing wild oats" comes from.
