The truth is---- when I have filled out the info for free subscriptions, I really was bombarded with spam emails and mail. I know it's still a good thing to get the freebies but I particularly do recall the "price" I paid. Not a reflection on the people posting these good offers- it is most appreciated.

All you have to do is set up an email account that you dont use for anything but freebies. I have a yahoo account that I use for that purpose only. I check it every so often, just to delete all the junk/spam emails.
You dont realize the time and trouble that people go through to post freebies -- and it's very discouraging when they never get thanked, but get only complaints. I used to post freebies and know how irritating it can be when people do nothing but complain, after I had spent hours looking for and posting the freebies. And two people who used to post freebies also let me know how depressing it was to get such unkind remarks.
I always rep those who post freebies, as often as I can. They perform an awesome service!
