Please note that due to the huge demand for these samples we are requesting a minimum $2 Donation to RUSH your sample.

I think this was posted before, and it never came.

Yep, it was posted exactly a year ago to the day at 02-13-2012 04:32 AM by GloryB.

Good for you, Bob! I had posted a snarky comment to that person before you posted just now and then deleted it because I didnt want to foul up your nice thread.

It must take a lot of devotion to keep posting these awesome freebies when some people seldom say thanks and post only gripes and complaints. Please know that I and many others DO appreciate you and your efforts!

I was being informative.

I have a spreadsheet of the freebies that I send for. It has the name of the freebie, the date that I sent for it, and if it ever came. I start a new each year, that's how I found out it was posted and never comes. Plus, for $2.00, I can buy a lot of seeds that aren't in paper.

I know no one was hateful. But I also know how I felt when I was posting deals every day and people complained about things over which I had no control. To be honest, that was the main reason I stopped posting those daily deals.

Glory told me that she felt bad when people complained about freebies that she posted too.

The $2.00 shipping cost for this freebie is only for expedited shipping. I ordered it and didnt have to send any money, although I realize that it may take a couple of months to get here.

I often dont get freebies that I've requested and I see that others do get them. I've come to the conclusion that companies target their freebies to certain demographics. So, if I request a freebie one year and dont get it, I'll still try the next year in hopes that my demographic is more desirable the second time around.

I wasn't complaining, but it's very interesting that Bob posted it the exact day a year later than GloryB did.

I get so much stuff that I give a lot of it away, because I can't use it. Whenever I get freebies of shampoo; conditioner; lotion, etc, it goes in the plastic bag hanging on the bathroom doorknob. When it's half full, I take it to a women's shelter and donate it. The latest thing that went into the bag was today - a full size bottle of Suave Morroccan shampoo, that was free with the coupon that I got, and I'm sure it'll be put to good use.

I'm sure the women's shelter appreciates the freebies -- which they'd never get if Bob didnt go to the trouble of finding out about each freebie and posting it.

It's a lot of work for Bob to search out all the freebies and post them every day. Believe me, I know.

I hope that I havent embarrassed Bob by my postings in this thread. But it bothers me that he gets little appreciation from most people for his efforts. A simple "Thanks, Bob" every now and then in the freebie thread would probably be nice for him to hear. (He's never told me that but I remember from my own experiences when I was posting the daily deals.)
