Hello fellow C-D Dayton members! I've been kicking around the idea of a get-together for us that post on the Dayton forum. Doesn't matter if you live in Dayton or not, I think it would be fun.

I don't have a particular date, time or site in mind. Personally, Saturdays are my best day. But am definitely amenable to a Sunday or Friday. I work nights so during the week is pretty much out for me...

I believe we should take advantages of one of the fine Dayton establishments. A coffee house? A restaurant? Should we do a Satuday a.m. breakfast then go on to our other plans after? A Sunday brunch or afternoon meet-up? I'm not as familiar with Dayton as I should be.

IMHO, a specific start time would be a better idea. We can always hang around for awhile if the conversation gets REALLY good!

Anyway, what do you guys think? Want to plan it for October to give everyone some lead time?

Your comments, please...

I'm totally IN !!!!!!!

Just to let y'all know though, I'm just a stupid high schooler with a bad schedule

I'll try my best to make sure I can swing it, but I don't think I can make any guarantees.

I'd love to come, but I'm just starting school back at OSU so I'm not even in Dayton at the moment

Otherwise, have a great time meeting everybody!

I'd like to come! I'm just another stupid high schooler, too, so you're not alone. But I'd really like it if we could meet on the 10th of October. Perhaps at Dublin Pub???

I'd definitely consider meeting up, depending on my schedule and whatnot.

I would be interested. Even though we live in Columbus my husband was born in Dayton and raised in Dayton. All of his family including his son still live there and also several of our friends live there. We come to Dayton quite often.

Cool! I am very familiar with that place . They have good sandwiches and they are pretty big. When my husband was with his son's mom and living in the neighborhood (they broke up more than 20 years ago) he was a regular at Tanks. When we are in Dayton ,we stop there alot and have a couple of pitchers of beer.
