Hi,guys. I was just browsing any filipino store/restaurant at google...and ended up in this site. I moved here in TX last year. I'm from NY. I found out that filipino products here are much more expensive compared to NY, including the Balikbayan Packages. Found Asian stores everywhere that sells filipino products but never able to find Filipino Restaurants... I am from Plano...

In Bedford, there's Filipiana Cafe.
Just take the Bedford Rd. exit off 183/121 (Airport Freeway) and go south on Bedford Rd. for less than 5 minutes. It will be in a small strip mall on your right.
You can call their number for hours.
They have a bakery shop that sells fresh ensymadas, and a pretty legit menu. Most of the clients are filipinos in there.

Old Manilla Bakery also has a small cafe. It's located in Mesquite off the Bigtown Blvd. exit of I-30. Go north on that road. I caution you that this one is more ghettoish.

In Irving, there is also one in south Irving, though I cannot remember the name of it.

Good luck!

Thumbs up D'Kusina Filipino Restaurant in Richardson, TX

Here's a Filipino restaurant in Richardson, Tx called d'Kusina -
2122 E. Beltline Road, Richardson, Tx (972) 238-7199. They have the authentic filipino food - from crispy pata, fresh lumpia, lechon kawali, fried tilapia, lumpiang shanghai, bistek ( filipino style), adobo, daing na bangus, tocino, longanisa. They have all kinds of everyone's favorite. If you are craving for filipino home cook meal - try d'kusina, good food and nice atmosphere.

Default Anybody know where I can order filipino lechon in DFW area?

Since everyone's on the subject of Filipino food, anybody know a lechonero in the Dallas area? I will drive anywhere to order/get a lechon for special occasions or holiday. I have asked the Filipinos that I know but nobody seems to know. Thanks!
