Hmm...what kind of scene are you looking for--a yuppie scene, college/party scene, or an area where you can study in peace?

Hi theloneranger, I am looking for a place where I can study but I would like to be near a party scene. I am not sure what you mean for a yuppie scene! I am single, 30 yo and I would like to meet some girls.

Would you prefer to be around younger, undergrad students, or around young urban professionals--lawyers, bankers, doctors, execs, that sort?

UTD has a very cheap apartment complex they own, but I've heard iffy reviews about it. However, there are a lot of students there.

Well, really I prefer to be around young professionals... I am considering to stay a few months in the UTD apartment complex but I'm not sure if I take this option or I rent a temporary room in a hotel while I find an apartment. I am from Latin-America, so I don't know to do.
