Hi everyone, I am in search of a good and honest car mechanic. I had the same car mechanic in Houston for 15 or more years and he was a wonderful mechanic in that he was honest and knew what he was doing. I recently relocated to Dallas and I am in search of a reputable car mechanic close to the downtown location. I keep my car in mint condition and need to find a good and reputable mechanic. Also if anyone out there knows of a reputable motorcycle shop where I can get the oil changed on my Yamaha v-star please point me that direction as well. Thanks to all in advance!

For Hondas there is Hondew. It's, uhhh, somewhere tucked in east of TI. AFAIK they only do Acura/Honda but are good people.

Hondew is an honest and good business. My son was driving an Acura across country when it started to overheat (he thought) near Dallas. I found positive comments about Hondew on the web and called them. Even though it was almost 5:00, they brought in his car and determined that it was only AC condensation.

I have used Ralley in Richardson for years. Scott- the owner has always been honest and his people have done good work on my cars. Ralley is located in North Richardson close to the I-75 and Campbell intersection.
