While Cedar Hill may have a slight edge in both areas, you can find good schools and nice neighborhoods in DeSoto as well.

check out www.greatschools.net. It gives a rating for every school. It looks like Cedar Hill has a very slight edge. Neither schools seems to be doing well.

Cedar Hill, easy!

I work with people who put their kids through Cedar Hill's public schools, they are happy with them. All of the kids are currently in college or about to start college.
