Whole Foods at the new location is a zoo. Where do people shop for groceries in the lower greenville / lakewood area?

It's a zoo because it just opened yesterday and people in the area have been excited about it's opening for a long time. The crowds will become more manageable after this week I'm sure.

If you don't like Whole Foods there are a lot of other options in the area. Fiesta, Kroger, Tom Thumb and Albertsons all have locations that serve the area. Also there is another organic grocer opening (Henderson near McMillan) later this month. It was to be called Sunflower Market but they've changed the name and I can't remember the new name.

A lot of options!

They're now called Newflower Markets and they open the new Dallas location March 18. Sunflower Farmers Market - Grocery Store, and click on "grand openings."

I often drive up to Skillman and Abrams and shop at the Super Target when I'm not at Whole Foods or Central Mkt (Lovers Ln at Greenville).

Central Market is the best grocery store I've ever been in, bar none. Tom Thumb and Kroger (both on Mockingbird) are both quite respectable as well. Whole Paycheck is totally overrated.

I just went to the Whole Foods in Lakewood. It was packed, of course, due to it only being the second day. I still like Central Market (Lovers and Greenville) way better though.
