Hello ,

I'm trying to do some research. Anyone made the move from Toronto any thoughts ?

I'm 32 in IT industry and I like the fact that Texas is business oriented.

My in-laws did the opposite move and moved from the suburbs of Dallas to the Suburbs of Toronto. They much prefer it in Markham. =) But it kind of depends on what you are looking for. I personally feel like the culture is really, really different. But if you have any specific questions, I can answer them.

What do you mean about "business oriented"?

Hi Annikan, thanks for the reply. What I meant is, is the environment better suited for business there or here in Toronto? What are some of the culture differences, since you mentioned the culture is really, really different.

Thanks!

Just saw you responded to this a while back. The culture issue.....it's complicated. And none of it may matter to you if you are a young, single guy (you don't mention moving with family in your original post).

I'll PM you.
