+1 truth.

I kinda don't get the point of this post, whites still dominate by far

So this thread is racist, but people asking if being black, Asian, etc in a certain area isn't? Come on now.

I think it is inherently racist. Just look at the title, which specifically mentions a race.
Not maliciously racist but it is racist.

Just the idea that a white preschooler in Plano might be the recipient of some sort of discrimination if you choose the wrong preschool is funny. There are all sorts of entertaining parts to this. First, "Indians" encompasses a large, diverse group of people that could be Hindu or Muslim or Christian or one of many other religions. Do most people ask about the religion of the owners of their kids' would-be preschool? That seems strange to me. Second, white folks are all over in DFW. I can't imagine a white kid experiencing significant racism in Plano. I just can't. Third, it is always entertaining to me when parents of one religion want dibs on teaching their kid their particular brand of nonsense, and they don't want any other nonsense to compete. I suppose it's natural, but it's still entertaining.

Blacks have historically often been the victims of discrimination. The two don't seem to be analogous.

Naive, IMO.

Agreed.
