I need to get my drivers license and plates, which DMV is usually not TOO crowded and crazy? Thanks!

The Mckinney one is typically much less crowded than Plano's.

It really depends on the time of a day and the day of a week. Me and my wife went to Plano DPS Tuesday of the last week. We were there at about 11:30am for out of State driver's license exchange. It took about 45 minutes or so. We were tempted to go to other locations but looked at the drive time over there and back, and figured it wasn't worth it. At best we would have broken even, plus gas, plus you never know where you could get stuck on the road. We live im Plano, so for all the talk I've read on here how terrible Plano office was......well, not in our case. Though I guess all is seen in comparison. After all, we lived in NYC and Jersey before LOL . Hhehehe.....Plano office is terrible? That's funny.

Wow insane! I lived in AZ, NJ and PA. AZ was the only place that took forever, until they changed the length of the license to 20 + years. There was always that 'secret' DMV that was easy in, easy out.

Wow, what a coincidence. I also have lived in the same three states.

AZ wasn't bad. NJ is by far the worst.

Horrible wait at Plano, went to Carrollton and was in and out, and they were actually very nice. Not really that far from Plano-GBT and Old Denton..
