Hi everyone,

I'm a first time post-er from the UK, my hubby has been offered a transfer with his company to Dallas and we are planning to move in July from London.

So, we are coming to visit for a week from March 18th and would love recommendations of realtors to help us find a rental property in West Plano and/or Richardson..

Any tips would be great!

Thank you,
Abbie

A lot of rentals are listed on the MLS, same as homes for sale; if you search on realtor.com specifically for rentals, you'll see them there.

There are also some property management companies in Dallas specializing in residential rentals; DM me and I can tell you the name of the one I rented from before I bought my house.

One good route might be for your husband to make contact with his future boss or co-workers and ask for a recommendation.

Folks, remember you cannot cite realtors, mortgage companies, etc (or any RE site except realtor.com and zillow). Send the OP a DM if you have a name.

If you are going to move in July you'll want to come to town and lease in June. Lease homes are going extremely fast with 2-4 applications.

No landlord will want to hold a property off the market until June or July.
