Hoping to stay in Rockwall and find something to do. Is this possible?

Depends...what do you like to do? And what does being atheist have to do with it?

Ah, I just see so many Christians in Rockwall and Lake Pointe Church seems to be the biggest aspect of the town.

Well...that's Texas, most people here are Christians.

What do you like to do?

Eh, but Rockwall still seems pretty worse than the rest of the DFW area from what I've seen.

As for what I like to do, I'm more of a hipster cafe/dive bar kind of guy. I like to go out and meet women but liberal women, not the conservative kind I've found in Rockwall.

Hmmm...maybe you should try the Double Wide or Lee Harvey's. You can google them or look them up on FB; they seem popular with the hipster crowd.

Yeah, I've been to both, but I'm looking for stuff WITHIN Rockwall that caters to that. Guess I won't find anything.

Sorry; I don't know Rockwall at all but I've never heard of any hip dive bars with liberal women there.

Sounds like you might be happier in another part of town. Why'd you choose to live in Rockwall?

No kidding. Did you see the story on last night's news about the latest Rockwall city council meeting? After that one, you might be the only liberal living in Rockwall!

Terrell has dive bars, although they are more of the redneck variety...

I'm a native born Dallas atheist myself. Stop wearing your atheism on your sleeve/worrying about it and you'll be fine. Same with the liberal thing. I'm fiscally conservative myself but people who know me, short of my good friends, don't know it.
