Hi all, My family (myself, husband, 3 year old son, 9 month old son) will be moving to Dallas this summer.
I am looking for a familyfriendly apartment complex to rent. Our budget is around $1200 for a 2 bedroom, and wewoulod like to be close to parks, bike trails, small lakes (for model boating), as well as Addison where me job is locatred. I was thinking of the Plano area since everyone says its great. Any input is welcome and appreciated. Thank you!

Plano would be a great area, as would Addison itself. There is also Richardson and Carrollton, but not sure about $1200 for rent in those areas (just have no idea, not that it's expensive or bad).

Richardson and Carrollton are well within that price point, but I think Plano would probably be more family friendly. I would also stay east of 75(highway) when looking for apartments in the Plano area. West and North sides of Plano are going to be your nicer areas.
