I am parent to a 13yr old who took 2 yrs of violin lessons awhile back. The teacher moved away and when middle school started, my daughter began flute lessons. Now she wants to learn cello and I'm wondering how to find a teacher near Duncanville. I ask her band director and a few parents;no luck so far. Any ideas on where to get help?

You might call the Dallas County Comm. College music dept at the campus nearest you.

Know you must be proud of your daughter......

Her band director does not have a list of private instructors?? Wow. If you were not south of Dallas I'd dig up who my daughters cello teacher was. Hmmm. Might try getting ahold of someone at the Meyerson w/ the Dallas Symphony. Her music instructors all seem to play w/ the Dallas Symphony and give lessons on the side.
