We are about to relocate to Dallas and need to find new physicans - pediatrician, adult primary care, and Gyn - and a dentist. Convenience is a high priority - both location and how easy it is to get an appointment, be seen timely, etc. I searched prior threads but found mostly recommendations in northern suburbs. I'd appreciate any recommendations for physicians and dentists closer to the park cities area. Feel free to DM if you prefer. Thanks!

There are a ton in that area, as well as many hospitals. You should ask around when you get moved to see who your friends and neighbors use. Does your insurance have a list of doctors?

Thanks for the reply! We will definitely ask neighbors when we arrive. We're changing insurance in a few weeks too and I'm sure they will have a list but I don't have access to it yet. We have an infant who is still in the frequent well-visit stage so we will need an appointment very shortly after we arrive so I am just trying to plan ahead. I'd be especially happy to receive any recommendations for pediatricians. Thanks.

I don't have kids but most of my Park Cities friends who do go to a pediatrician in Inwood Village- on Lovers just the other side of the Tollroad from Park Cities. You may try googling that or call the "newcomers" officer for the early childhood PTA for a few of the HPISD elementary schools- there's one ECPTA for Hyer, UP, and Bradfield & Armstrong share the third.

10 minutes drive from park cities on Hwy 75 exit 8. Next bldg to medical city dallas children's hospital (major children's hospital in the area with leading specialists). Dr. Al Karam (u can google his name for the phone #). Top pediatritian for the number of years and most importantly affiliated and has priviledges in Medical City Hospital (in case of emergency). Hope it helps..

Dr. Christopher Abel and Dr. Richard Moore have a great practice over by the golden buildings off Central and Caruth. Love them. Highland Park Dental is nice (our insurance doesn't civer them though so we had to switch). Still trying out other dentists.
