Last summer I saw Better than Ezra w/ Bowling for Soup there. Venue sucks. It's basically a huge conference room where they have a stage and put in portable seats. If you didn't see what was on stage, you'd think you were at a convention where someone was about to speak. The obvious and biggest con, of course, is that you have to drive up there, but they get interesting people to play there.

As to seating, other than the fact that the seats are portable and crappy, I can't imagine having to sit way in the back and see this show. I saw my show in the first row of the cheap seats and that was good, but IIRC, they don't have projector/TV screens so you won't see them too well from way in the back, and the acoustics are not great (not awful either).

That said, there some pro's, like outside of the concert venue, being a casino, you can hit up one of those "Self Beverage Centers" and get a free cup of soda, coffee or iced tea.

I would go again, but my expectations about the venue are now so low that I would have even a better time. I myself have been debating about trying to get tix to see Nelly this Friday or "Alice in Chains unplugged" later this summer, but the costs for those are pretty high.

With the artists and bands they get, I can't really imagine it being very cool.

Since I like Steely Dan and Santana, those would be "cool" shows in my book.

I think Dan is either sold out or almost sold out and Santana may be close by now.

Both would be cool to see, but I'm not paying for any band that's got guys in their 60's trying to rock out. Would pay millions for a time machine to see Zeppelin in 1976, but no reunion tour for me. Sorry, its not an ageism thing its just a past their prime type thing.

Default I understand...

I really like Robin Trower but will not go watch him at the age of 70 or whatever he is now even though he may still play a mean guitar.

It's just not the same.
