Did any one else notice increased number of
Bobcats roaming around Collin County?

I read an article in DMN about Bobcat sightings. Some lady in Allen posted pictures and it seems their population is on the rise.

Wonder if the bunny population is going down at the same time?

We've had a slight uptick in coyote sightings around here and I used to see bunnies all the time when I first bought this house but I saw none in 2010 and none so far this year. I guess the coyotes got them.

I guess when they destroyed the woods to expand the 121/75 and the PGBTK they had to go somewhere.

When I was in Richardson I noticed a multitude of rabbits hopping around. No bobcats, however. Although, I do remember a news story a while ago about bobcat sightings around Union Station.

Hmm maybe it's just my neighborhood then. I kind of miss the bunnies, they were cute.

Haven't seen any bobcats in Far North Dallas, but have seen a few coyotes.

I also remember a few years ago when we had so many bunnies running about. Now there's far fewer.

This spring I saw a bobcat on Inwood Road and Park Lane (Dallas proper), I had to break for it. It ran out right in front of me in the middle of the day. Yeah, I'm not seeing the bunnies either.
