Be careful as some homes close to there have Plano addresses but are not zoned to Plano ISD. Shopping would be at nearby Willowbend Mall and 10 miles north/south at Stonebriar Mall or Galleria Mall. There is a lot of other commercial property (grocery, restaurants, etc) along Midway and Tollroad corridor. Highway access would be close proximity to north Dallas Tollroad and 190/George bush.

I think you have to be on the Collin County side to be in Plano ISD.
Map of Plano West Senior High Feeder Schools : Plano ISD

I am in those parts at lunch sometimes as I work in the Plano Legacy area, and it's not that great as far as retail and restaurants in my opinion. There are a ton of medical offices over there since Plano Presby is nearby. It's near the Dallas North Tollway of course, so you'll need a tolltag. There isn't a free highway around there. Willow Bend Mall is an okay mall, smaller. The massive Prestonwood Baptist Church is near there, too. That would be a con in my book - massive crowds. It's a slightly hilly area. Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is near there and that's a huge plus.

nice area with everything in close proximity including 121 & 190. just make sure that you are in collin county because denton county homes don't come under pisd-you'll know by the price difference. homes with west plano schools come with a premium. to be sure look up house address on pisd website. shops at willowbend are upscale and peaceful with plenty of parking.home depot, target, walmart, kroger, academy, office depot, bed bath& beyond, costco are minutes away.hospital is top class.

There are only 2 communities that are in the Lewisville school district.

King's Gate
King's Ridge

These are the other neighborhoods that are in Plano ISD.

Shoal Creek
Parkbrooke
Glenhollow
Wolf Creek
Westover

Naima

love that area. great access to what you need and tollway, more affordable than neighborhoods on the other side of the tollway (willow bends, etc.)

very nice area with easy access to highways, shopping, medical, dinning, great schools, nature reserve, golf, etc. many custom home communities, homes from 350k-3 million. well maintained and upgraded homes with green belts, golf, creek, park views and pools. go for it!

I live there and love it. The only downside is paying to run the tollway everyday
