Does anybody know what the job market is like right now in Dallas or in the Richardson, Garland, Murphy, and Addision areas?

those are very different communities as far as jobs go. Garland has a very large industrial base. Richardson is known for the telecommunications focus. Addison has a wide variety of office businesses. Murphy is a bedroom community.

Forget teaching. Every school district is laying off 100's. Plano ISD gave out over 200 pink slips to teachers alone last Tuesday. Some districts are doing better and only asking those w/ 30+ years to retire and giving them a bonus to do so. Districts still are not hiring, at all.
