Just make sure you know the market price on the DAY that you're buying so you'll know if they're in the correct price range

Whatever dealer you choose, be very wary of buying numismatic coins - I'd focus just on bullion coins. Most of the dealers that advertise on talk-radio are pushing numismatic coins at 30 to 40% above numismatic value. Bullion coins are sold at the market rate of gold plus 1 or 2% fee. I'd stick to Krugerrands.

Dallas Gold & Silver is a good local store. Their margins arent rediculous and it is nice to talk to someone face to face when you making a purchase.

Dallas Gold And Silver. Hands down, I know the family a little, they are fair have a fairly good selection and best of all they end up knowing you and what you are looking for. Something rare indeed in these times. Their last name is Oyster, yes just like the little critter that on a lucky day bestowes you with a pearl. BTW, they have a very large selection of one of a kind jewelry, watches etc. I really like their prices....excellent jewelry repair too..OK, now I did say at thee start of this post that I liked them...HANDS DOWN...Try them and see, and as mentioned above the margins are not all that bad.
