I like Del Taco, but this is definitely a tough market. I hope they can make a go of it.

A blast from the past; they used to be fairly plentiful. The more the merrier, I say. Maybe by offering burgers, they'll gain a wider clientele. I'd rather eat there than Chipotle. I do NOT understand the popularity of this chain.

GUYS! Del Taco has already been to Texas and in the Dallas market. They for some reason pulled out. This was even before Taco Bueno made a debut in the area. We had Del Taco and Taco Bell. I don't know why they left but they did. Back in the late 70's and thru the 80's we had Del Taco.

Man, I wish we could get El Pollo Loco. I miss that place like crazy!

I never liked Del Taco.

Yep, a blast from the past. I crack up over this one as all these transplants don't realize that Del Taco has already been here and we DO know what they are. LOL!!!

Chipotle is a bit different. I'd say we have only eaten there about 4 times. It is okay but nothing to write home about. I'll take Freebirds. I don't know if it is that popular as I've never seen one packed full of people.

Many people don't know that they were here before. Just read some of their posts every time it comes up.
