The couple dying at the same time is certainly suspicious. Most of the dead people also had a drink from the liquor tap in the room. I would lean toward a suspicion of tainted alcohol. I read an article that said watering down alcohol could lead to dangerous pathogens flourishing unchecked in the taps.

"That took longer than expected and we now know the FBI handed over that information to the families of the people who died and Dominican Authorities back on September 16th.
The State Department`s Bureau of Consular Affairs sent FOX43 Finds Out a statement that reads: "The results of the additional, extensive toxicology testing completed to date have been consistent with the findings of local authorities. Our condolences and sympathy go out to the families during this difficult time."

It was a slow news cycle during that period. The DR deaths/sickness was a nice news segment. It ran its course. Maybe in 1 or 2 year they will resurrect it.

How was it created by the media? They reported what people who were with the folks who died said. They reported on the various possible causes they were looking at.
A 63 year old, and a 49 year old couple were both found dead at the same time, in the same room. Come on FBI
I'm Guessing The bosses at The FBI didn't want Agents spending too much time on this.
I think the FBI is more consumed with, taking down Trump and Putin right now than worrying about American Citizens.
Sad
