which advertises that it’s “made from real ginger” on the front of the can.
Bonus paragraph at the end...

A similar case against Dr Pepper Snapple Group was brought before a judge in Missouri, but was dismissed in June, according to The Washington Post. Other food and beverage companies have faced accusations of false advertising in the past as well. Kellogg’s has been brought to court for not having real fruit in their Froot Loops, and Starbucks changed their pumpkin spice latte recipe in 2015 after being criticized for its lack of real pumpkin.

I'd rather this lawsuit come from the FDA, but really, we need to be able to trust labeling. Don't lie about the ingredients! I want to be able to trust labelling when I buy food.
The food industry is poisoning us. Canada Dry USED to be made with real ginger. Coke used to be made with regular sugar. Subway got heat for using a chemical commonly found in gym mats in their bread. Why????

I believe this same issue came up several years ago and Canada Dry was able to demonstrate there was real ginger extract in their soda. This plaintiff is arguing that Canada Dry's false advertising "has hurt her economically." Seriously? I hope the taxpayers of NY enjoy paying for their courts to deal with this nonsense.
