I use a wired plantronics headset for work. The phone is a telmatrix sp300. I can use the handset fine but when I attach the headset and press the headset on button I can`t hear through it. I`ve tried 2 different headsets and 2 different cords that attach to the headset port in the back of the phone. If I put the handset cord into the headset port and I press the headset button I can hear though the handset.
Any technical people out there that can help do you think the phone is defective. If so I just don`t understand why the headset button works when i plug in the handset to the headset port.
