I dont believe Strong school has very many apartments in it's district. South End should have some since its closer to downtown.
Though overall, there aren't TONS of apartment complexes in Southington.
You are better off looking on craigslist or realtor.com for rentals.
There are usually quite a few 1 and 2 bedroom rentals posted there.

A few of the local churches in Southington have nursery schools. Perhaps Google the churches and from there you can find out about their preschools. The church located on Church St has a nursery school and so does the Congregational Church across from the town green.
However these are only preschools, NOT daycares..

Daycares I can't help you outwith....sorry. But their are many in Southington and Cheshire.

Renting an apartment in a mullti family will be cheaper the renting a single family home. If you are looking for a single family home with more then 1500 sq feet then it will cost you around 1800 a month or more. But it will be less if it's not a single family...
Good Luck in your search!

Connecticut in general does not have a lot of large scale apartment complexes. I would check craigslist.com for rentals in a private muli-family or condo. Jay
