Yup... some got it bad. CT valley missed it. In fact you can see what that distinct western band did.

Not all that bad in Berlin. Had a wet snow shower on my way back from work. Not too much wind either. It was actually a lot windier this morning, averaging north at 20 MPH. Did the system jog a bit east, perhaps?

Bust city in central CT. Wallingford had nothing, and the drive home showed a bunch on the lawns, but the roads were all clear.

My daughter lives in Tewksbury ma. just south of Lowell.and as of 4:45 pm she says she has lost sight of the horse barn 300' from the house for the past half hour, alond with the horse fence 200feet from the house.

All I know is that Atlanta still has more than DC this season and it fell back in December for ATL. poor DC. #SnowHole

Yeah, here's an article on it: https://wtop.com/weather-news/2018/0...ter-nears-end/

Keep in mind that DC is over 200 miles south of us though....their 3.7" so far would make it the 11th least snowy winter.....in NYC a winter of 3.7" would make it the 3rd least snowiest.

Article above says 0.5" fell on April 7, 2007 (I think that one missed us) and latest measurable of any kind is April 28, 1898 (I think that is later than NYC's latest measurable and possibly even Hartford's (though I think theirs is May 9, 1977)).

I went on the NWS website for DC, and it turns out they have NEVER gotten a foot of snow in March, though 11.5" fell on March 29, 1942 (though it only gives by calendar date but I checked NOWdata and it did not snow the day before or after....in fact this is the only date even 10" or more fell in March there). Their latest foot by calendar date was on Feb. 19, 1979 when 14" fell.

For a rough estimate, I put Washington DC 350 miles south of Hartford. The Amtrak train trip from Berlin, CT took close to 7 hours the last time I took it in May 2015.

Yes but the interesting fact is that Atlantic City has 28". Philly 22". Norfolk 15". Richmond 10". Atlanta 4.7". DC having less than everyone around them is whats amazing.

Incredible. Such short distances away from the coast and it's half foot difference.
