2016: 8.40"
2017: 12.84"

Interesting steady pace for BDR past 5 yrs but this year should end up wettest Summer since 2013

2017: 8.75"
2018: 9.33"

Looks Like BDL got another 1.5 or more inches in the past few days. closing in on 2013. I believe there was a tropical storm in 2013 that pushed it that high.

Yep! Here in Berlin, it's quiet. Low 80s, light breeze at times, humid and partly sunny. Walked through a hefty 5 minute shower this morning in New Britain.

It gorgeous right now! Had a few sprinkles late morning (looked like it was pouring a couple of miles away), then the sun came out and the sky is blue. BLUE!! I kid you not. Opened all the windows too. Nice breeze! Humidity has dropped to 45% upstairs.

OK, but mid-July to mid-August seems unusually humid? I know it tends to be humid this time of year, but seemed excessive this summer.

According to your chart... the highest, ever?

Its excessive. My yard looks like a tropical rainforest its so lush. The stream that never runs in the summer has been running 24/7. Mold growing on the outdoor furniture. So gross.

Yes and Yes...so far.

And Ever is NEVER accurate to say. "On record" is better. Nobody knows how it was in 1811 or 1277. Ever? lol

A good example of that is to look at the NWS website for Albany, NY. For the most part, the oldest of official weather stations out there goes back maybe 150 years or so (such as Central Park NYC which turns 150 this coming January), but for some reason they (the Albany website) has some data going back as far as the late 1700s (only other place I know of like this is London, England). They have some surprisingly warm years in parts of the early 1800s (as does London).
