Drought was barely anything to begin with. Last week, only Greenwich and Stamford were being brushed by the color for "abnormally dry" on Thursday's map. Guaranteed that the entire state will be fine on the next map now.

42 degrees and raining in New Britain at 2 PM.

Gee, the snow board isn't getting much use this winter.

4pmEST map

Back edge is in NJ so rain is almost done.

I'm so thankfull I am not in Florida! It's February, that's just horrible. But I'd rather be in Virginia than get this rain and 40s. Then again Dry, Clear skies and Wisconsin would be fine too!

I'm headed there for most of March! Can't wait! it may look like 80, but in the keys there's always a nice breeze and a pool or a boat somewhere near by!

NYC shot up from 51 to 61 since your post! Danbury up to 56, but BDR still just 46 and Poughkeepsie, NY, just 40 miles or so from Danbury is still in the 30s! Poughkeepsie and Dutchess county actually had a Winter Weather Advisory earlier today for freezing rain!

Yep! I was still (unsuccessfully) chipping ice off the back walk yesterday. I think it's finally gone now.

You'll never get your days off with that kind of weather. You want cold and snow for that

I heard a burst of heavier rain and figured I check my map.. First thing I see was the 57° in Danbury! Wow! Looks like rain is done so I'll put on some shorts to go outside to see how much is in the rain gauge.

Cold front still over Ohio wonder why Hudson Valley dropping into the 30s.

1.65" in last 24hrs. Nuts. And not even " a storm". Just multiple waves of low pressures riding along a front with moisture from the gulf
