The weekend will end with gorgeous weather today. Expect it to be less humid, but still sunny with temps in the mid 80s
.
Agree, feels great, especially after dewpoints in the 70s on Friday.

Holding out hope that we'll make it through rest of Aug with no 90s!?

It is so gross out today. Cannot wait for the end of the week. I'm picking up a small dual unit window fan to help move air around our bedroom. Kids rooms are fine but our room struggles a bit because of the cathedral ceiling. It will be nice to kick the AC off again and open some windows!

I am guessing but on September 1st I think you will see him back here..if I recall he took the month of August off a while back..my guess is he did that again. Note his last post was July 31st.

I love this weather! I often find the CT summers too hot. I was on vacation in The South for a while to see family, but I sure do prefer the weather up here!
Looking long term it seems fall will be average-slightly above average. If so all of September will be like this too

What a great stretch of weather. Hope everyone enjoys it!

A fall chill in the air this morning! You may need a light jacket. Fair weather cumulus clouds will again pop up this afternoon. Highs again reach into the mid to upper 70s, but thermometers will drop quickly this evening with very dry air in place. Plan for 60s if you have plans.
A large area of high pressure is dominating the northeastern U.S. This pattern will hold for several days continuing to turn on nature’s air conditioner with refreshing levels of humidity through the first half of the week.

Large high pressure in control will result in a beautiful day with just a bit of diurnal cumulus clouds. After a cool start, plenty of sunshine will allow afternoon high temps to recover into middle to upper 70s along with very comfortable humidity levels. Sea breezes will develop along both coasts.c
