From closest to farthest:

Greenwich, CT (Greenwich Point): ~27.5 miles from ESB

Stamford, CT (Shippan Point): ~30.2 miles from ESB

Westport, CT (Cockenoe Island): ~40 miles from ESB

Where Sherwood Island, Westport, CT would fall... ~42.4 miles from ESB

Fairfield, CT (Pine Creek Beach, Southport): ~45.2 miles from ESB

The next possible point one may see the ESB would maybe be from Pleasure Beach, Bridgeport to Stratford Point, Stratford, but I haven't found any photos from those points (~ 51.1 - 53.8 miles away from ESB). I'm also wondering if the ESB could possibly be seen from one of the skyscrapers in Downtown New Haven (~ 67 miles), but now you're looking over land. Lighthouse Point Park, East Haven, CT gives us a clear shot on the Sound, but the ESB may be "under water" at that point (66.4 miles away from ESB).

Long Island Sound from Norwalk, CT. That's a big chunk of ice! I Had to make some adjustments since the Sunset and the Ice was off a bit. Brightened the Ice and Darkened the sunset.

Couple pics I took this morning...

Here's the Norwalk River which drains into the Long Island Sound. That's I-95 up there. This river starts 21 miles north of here.

A local stream in Stamford which is part of a river called Rippowam River which also drains into the Long island Sound.

Too cool not to post. New Haven from Space! You can see the ice forming along the shore and I see a frozen lake too
