That photo is also very beautiful. It's the type that would make it to a very nice calendar.

Hopefully last night's cold temperatures will help speed up the changing of colors on the leaves.
lol, thanks. I'm just confused which month it would be for. Green leaves and frost? Septober?

Reason why it didn't form under there I believe because it was harder to radiate with the blanket or leaves above. So the ground didn't cool off as much as where it was open.

BTW - I like your status. lol "What happened to Fall?"

Hello There.

Seaweed

Some folks taking a morning stroll. Everyone so friendly including me of course.. Smiling and saying good morning.

I was in jeans and short sleeves.

Some Jet Skiers and Boaters out there.

Looking back towards the North. Trees still looking fullish.

Panorama. Clear skies over land, cloudy over water. That's because there's a front that's out there

Looks like you had pretty disappointing color all the way up. The formations at Natural Bridge in the other thread are amazing -a geologist's dream. You took my favorite autumn drive (haven't done it in a few years though).

Colors in Guilford, Madison, and Milford were pretty good this weekend.

The northern areas seemed to have gotten screwed. The leaves were weak enough to be blown off early, whereas the coast may have benefited by staying green to the point where it cooled.

New Canaan today. #WhatHappenedToFall?

Also, I don't know if the landscapers were up at sunrise but there's no leaves on the ground. Considering we just had a storm and debris/leaves are everywhere, this looks fake. I swear this was taken this afternoon. Maybe the leaves were down already?

How about this.........

September 23rd on top, today on bottom. New Canaan.

WOW the picture on the right doesn't even look like it's an asphalt path. I would have thought it was dirt without the comparison picture.
