What's up with BDR suddenly being the "warm spot"? This is like the 3rd day in a row I think it's the highest temp in the tri-state area. Even Elise Finch on channel 2 noted this and was puzzled

Maybe a fan problem? The more weird each day looks the more chances are they will inspect it. That's ok though, it fits their agenda with you know what. They should just leave it alone. Even 1-2 extra degrees a day will help them in the long run. It's not like NOAA hasn't tampered/changed data in the past. (yes they have)

FYI... Some stations are offline this morning including BDR.

6:35am radar

I'm under the yellow (35dbz) now. Steady rain. Lets see how much Bridgeport gets out of this. I'm up to 0.10"

5:25-9:25am loop. I slowed it down a bit and kept the Highways and State Routes on.

Below 30dbz (Greens) = drizzle or light rain.
30-39dbz (Yellows) = Steady rain
40-49 dbz (Oranges) = Moderate rain
50dbz+ = (Reds) Downpour

I was under yellows for about 30 minutes. Ended up with 0.15"

I see the blue skies overhead is about to end. lol

With the 10,000 foot level below freezing I suspected there would be strong storms and even hail.

How would you like to have been under the pinks? Radar beam picking up some intense and thick object. Mini hail falling under those areas. Too bad we don't have people reporting from every street.

But note the hail report from CT there. Ashford and Falls Village
