I would EASILY say you need to get yourself to new haven. though you do have the attitude of yale kids, there is still a cool scene. great bars and restaurant-bars, one is called BAR, and if it's still around, great pizza, drinks and a cool spot in back for bands. If you want to get W I L D though, from the levels of classy to crazy, you need to take a trip to hartford bro! the pourhouse, pigs eye pub, that immediate stretch has some awesome big bars that will feed your hunger, that will be a hell of a trip, but here's a suggestion, try to get one or more guys to get a hotel for the night downtown and hit those spots up, you'll have plenty of eyecandy, makes me miss the big weekends downtown.

I like Hartford and all, but the nightlife scene pales in comparison to downtown New Haven.

I can't promise "hottest women" or "hottest nightlife" but places I would try include The Back Porch in Old Saybrook, Bills in Westbrook (laid back with a band playing on the deck after all the families go home), Donahues in Madison, or if you want something closer to a dive bar try The Rabbit Hole or the Monkey Farm in Old Saybrook. I don't venture into Clinton much and the times I have its been for very dive like bars. There is Chips III there but its more for hanging around and probably not what you are going for. Haywire Burger Bar also opened up in Westbrook recently and its nice for a low key night over a few drinks.

But to be clear, I wouldn't consider any of these places "hottest nightlife" and the women are hit or miss. Expect a wide range of ages all mixing together.

Agreed. Ain't got nothin' on it. There are spots (that I avoid) in downtown New Haven that are plenty "WILD".

Hot women? In CT? If you're into tatoo-covered, cigarette smoking chicks with fat guts in bikinis, then the CT shore is for you. If you want women with a little class, hot bodies and a full set if teeth, head east to RI (with the exception of misquamicut)...Good luck

LOL - what? I live on the CT shore and if anything, the exact opposite is true. RI is absolutely FULL of the "element" you speak of. It's one of the reasons I can't stand it.

There are women of all types and personalities in all parts of CT. My best friend is from the Lyme area of CT, and there are some very attractive (looks + personality) women, along with some dingbats and/or classless women from those neck of the woods. Whether they earn and/or come from money also varies among all types of women.

I've observed these exact trends in New Haven women, Stamford women, Hartford women, and everywhere in between.

Point is, it is unfair to generalize by personality type localized to a geographical region. The better question for the OP is to ask where the "party scene" is located, and in that case, I'd advise to check out the aforementioned locales in New Haven.
