All of a sudden my computer is giving me a message that it can't connect with the server. I use Internet Explorer? Anyone have a clue for this very ignorant computer person what that even means or why it would happen? No problems and I was on when it happened.

Is it all servers? if you have a dianostic prompt then click on it;windows normally gives one.

Are you using that computer to post your question?

If you are, then clearly your computer is working.

No Ashville Native... I wasn't using mine, but one at a friend's house. I'm computer dense, but not that dense. Thanks Texdav! I actually figured out what the issue was and it was related to a problem with some outlets in the room where the computer modem is - I wasn't getting a signal although I thought I was! Thanks!
