Hi everyone,

I just bought my wife a new desktop with windows ten. Her previous has windows 7. I have been able to transfer her pictures and music to the new computer using a transfer cable but I am at a loss on how to transfer her favorites.

Also how do I change the home page from the one that comes up when click on the E at the bottom to something else that she likes?

Thanks for any help.

Which browser is in the Win7 system and which browser do you want to have in the Win10 system?

fyi having a thumb drive on hand will make the transfer much easier.

Open IE, if the menu bar is not viewable right click the top of the browser and put a check next to menu bar. On the menu bar click file and find the import/export option. Follow the prompts to export favorites.

Reverse this procedure in new browser. All browsers have this function.

As for changing the home page not sure about the new browser but if you find the options it's usually on first tab.

-------edit---------

Just did a little clicking around in IE, right clicking the Home icon brings up option to set current page or some other page as home page. Duh!
