Even though I browse for other custom lock screen images, this Microsoft beach arch photo keeps showing up when I manually lock the PC (using Windows key + L).

But my other chosen photos do display when the computer times out and the screen locks automatically. That's the mystery. I've seen it mentioned elsewhere at least once. Does anyone reading this have the same problem and a solution?

Example of the exact photo, not from my PC.

FYI, that beach arch image is located in C:\Windows\Web\Screen\ but doesn't let itself be renamed or deleted easily. I tried putting my own images in that folder and "Browsing" to it in Lock screen setup, but the problem persists.

Default Reply to self!

Strange. Not one reply to this. But the Windows 10 Threshold 2 update fixed it; for anyone who might wonder.
