To make a long story short, I'd like to send an email message to about 5 people but need to do so anonymously. If they were able to determine whom it came from or even able to narrow down the geography via an IP address, there would likely be reprisals.
However, I'd like to be able to receive responses to the email.
Is there a way to do this from your PC without any traceability?
Be aware that tracing back to an individual in a work complaint is often VERY easy, even if they attempt to do so anonymously. It often does not go well for the person after that. Word usage, knowledge of particular events, various slants in point of view all work against anonymity.
Unless this is a very, very harmless joke that you wouldn't MIND having traced back to you after the fact, I wouldn't do it. It's got "this will come back to bite you" written alllll over it.
Just saying.
Get a better job first. Then you can tell your boss what you really think, and there won't be much (s)he can do.
