My Toshiba laptop is still limping along after 7 years of daily use but it has issues and it's time to look for a new one.
Want Windows 7, MS Word, and hopefully voice-activated typing software already installed. Would use the laptop for personal use, Internet access, selling and buying on eBay, typing a few documents. Suggestions?

Here's a start. Windows 7 and sorted by best rating. It's a long list, but you have to start somewhere. You can sort further using the list at the left.

MS Word (at least the 2003 version that I use) can be trained to type using voice.

honestly, you had better get one quick. There are not a lot of laptops with windows 7 on them anymore. I know walmart and bestbuy aren't carrying them anymore.

The link I posted earlier didn't work correctly. Let me try that again. This should list only Win7 computers.

Nope. Didn't work right. So....

On the left side of the screen click Advanced if isn't already highlighted then go down to Operating System in that list. Choose one of the Windows 7 versions and the choices will automatically change to only show that version of windows as the OS. Usually it keeps that info when I create a link, but it's not doing it for some reason.
