Anyone know how to get rid of a virus. It is called AVSystemCare and Down loader mislead app. I have a red screen with a symbol that has taken over my desk top. It Say's Your privacy is in danger download protection software now. I'm getting pop ups trying to get me to buy their products. Gives exaggerated reports of threats on my computer. Annoying pop windows on my browser to buy their products. It is very persistent and I can't get rid of it. I don't know how much longer my computer will work. It is done.....fried!
So, If you don't see me on here anymore that is where DBNN went!
Appreciate any help! You won't believe how long it took me to post this.

Do you have Ad-Ware? Run it. Or google it and see if yo can up-load it. Should be a free version. And stay outa those porn sites fer cryin out loud!

Eugh, I had a problem with this kind of thing last week. Mine was a horrid little program called AntiVirGear so I know how annoying this kind of thing can be. Luckily I managed to get rid of the one on my computer.

I (thankfully) have no prior experience of AVSystemCare but I found this forum article. It seems that the thread starter had the same problem that you are are currently experiencing but by following the steps posted by the other people on there they managed to remove it.

Hope this helps. Malware can be sooooo irritating.

All those only do so much. He needs the help that a HiJack log READER can provide. To do that, he needs to run a HiJack log and log onto one of the ASAP support forums to get free help. Liz
