Any idea what caused the indefinite suspension of Stephen Garcia? Not like he was exactly the best quarterback, but at least he helped USC do a little better than normal this past year. None of the media outlets are giving the reason for his suspension. I didn't realize this was his 5th. Must be a troubled young man.
Good riddance. But he's not going anywhere. The word "indefinitely" by definition isn't final. If he cared half as much as Connor Shaw seems to he'd be great.
Garcia's an idiot -- good riddance to bad rubbish! Now work to develop Connor Shaw. And hopefully, Clowney is watching and learning from Garcia's mistakes.
Maybe Ray Tanner could teach the football team something about class. I just love those baseball guys!
(and, Waccamatt, I know you're not surprised that gsupstate posted something negative about USC )
Give the ball to Conner Shaw. Garcia has/had tremendous potential, but has squandered his numerous opportunities (including extra chances after previous suspensions) to display an increased level of maturity and leadership.
people can ask for and get a second chance. But 5?? Pull his scholarship once and see if that slaps some sense into him. Reward the kids doing it right, and sit the ones that don't.
These athletes can have the world handed to them if they can take it and run with it......but you can't hold the other players back or give them the wrong impressions by letting some get away with more.

I agree. I live in Rosewood and see hime from time to time around the neighborhood. Total dip**** from what I can surmise.
He's average QB at best. With out lattimore he's nothing and he showed that during the KY game. I say give Shaw a chance. He's smaller, but he moves quick.
