My husband has an undergrad in business waited for over 10 years before going back to school. He went strait for his MA in Taxation at USC. (the real one in SoCal!)
I think if you can go strait to an MA program, that would be your best bet.
Also, as I remember, DH did need to take a few pre-requisites before officially beginning the program.
