All he did, after all, was enroll in college at age 8 and earn his first of two Associate of Arts degrees from East Los Angeles Community College at age 9, graduating with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
Now, at 14, he's poised to graduate from UCLA this year. He's also just published an English edition of his first book, "We Can Do."

I think anyone can achieve what this boy did at an early age. They say the mind is hungry for knowledge and is a sponge in its early years. And it's also why the Chinese students get ahead of the American students and are bilingual at very young ages.
I'm glad he strives to earn a document. I've never had one of those before... good job AP
What does he hope to achieve by doing this? You think a company is going to hire a 15 year old because they have a Bachelors? How about hiring a 17 year old because he has a Master's Degree? Not likely.

Very good point. Maybe he'll be able to land a decent internship right after graduating?

When you're that precociously intelligent, you need that type of intellectual stimulation to stay happy, much less sane. While his parents have certainly encouraged him to cultivate his talents, I think it's pretty clear this kid is self-driven, and going to college at a young age was something he very much wanted.
Obviously it will take some time for his maturity to catch up with his brains. He seems like a very responsible, well-adjusted young man, but a nine-year-old is a nine-year-old. I don't think anyone suggesting he enter the work force right away.
Besides, people like Moshe tend to end up in academia anyway. I don't think he's going to be working any 9-5 middle management job.
Also, he's not just Chinese, but half-Jewish as well. A real intellectual double threat.
